Top-Line Armor Systems recently took part in delivering the Safe Surfin Foundation's first round of ballistic vests to the Owensville Police Department.
The Safe Surfin Foundation's "PROTECT THE PROTECTORS" program kicked off on August 2nd, 2013 with it's first delivery of 16 body armor systems. Created by Sheriff Mike Brown of Bedford County, Virginia, the Safe Surfin Foundation has teamed up with Moose International and the National Sheriffs Association to create a program that provides body armor at no cost to departments in need.
"I've been in this business 45 years. I've seen a lot of policemen die. Some for want of a ballistic vest and I want to know that I've done, when my time is up." Stated Mike Brown. "I want to know that I've done everything i can do to protect, whether it's a trooper a pd, or a sheriff's office, I want to know that I've done it."
